Free Seminar explores the Influence of Renaissance Architect Andrea Palladio

Estero, FL Immerse yourself in the legacy and history of Andrea Palladio's architecture and world-renowned Italian villas. Miromar Design Center hosts a free seminar open to the public from 2 to 4 p.m. on Saturday August 7, 2010. Designers and architects qualify for two free hours continuing education credit.
Learn why Palladio is considered to be one of the most influential architects in history. His villas revolutionized modern architecture and are visited by hundreds of thousands of tourists and architects each year. Explore the Renaissance through his designs, and vision, which have shaped and evolved over the past four-hundred years.
The seminar is presented by Sarasota Designer Jean Renoux, ASID, Allied AIA and member of the Society of Architectural Historians. Renoux looks at the legacy of Palladio's architecture and moves to the modern era and the reproduction of Palladio's architecture in Florida.
